Freddie Joe Carver, 81, of Bowling Green, KY passed away Friday, October 4, 2024 at the Hospice House in Bowling Green. The Glasgow, KY native was the owner and operator of Bowling Green Cartage, loved golfing and fishing, a member of Hillvue Heights and Twelve Disciples Fishing Club. He was a son of the late William Goebel Carver, Sr. and Mary Ellen "Tootie" Wood Carver Rather.
He is survived by his wife: Jerry Sue Wilson Carver, Bowling Green, KY;
1 son: Christopher Wilson, Franklin, TN;
2 daughters: Lisa Biggers and Marianne Demyers and husband, Greg, Franklin, TN;
1 sister: Mary Gail Daughtry and husband, Terry, Gallatin, TN;
4 grandchildren: Jake Biggers, John Biggers, David Demyers and Jack Demyers;
1 niece: Kim Kirby, Scottsville, KY;
Several other nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by 1 niece: Beth Lindeau; 1 half sister: Lee Etta Carver Nunn and 1 half brother: William "Billy" Carver, Jr.
Funeral service will be 1:00 P.M. Wednesday at Goad Funeral Home with burial in Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 10:00 A.M. Wednesday until funeral time at Goad Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Hospice House. Donations may be made at Goad Funeral Home.
