Faye (Woods) Wheat

Faye Woods Wheat, 82, of Scottsville, KY passed away Tuesday, March 26, 2024 at the Medical Center at Scottsville.  The Scottsville, KY native was a retired employee of General Electric and A.O. Smith, a former employee of Washington Overall Manufacturing and the Cedar House Restaurant and member of Bethel Missionary Baptist Church.  She was a daughter of the late Murl Calvert Wood and Alma Lee Woods and wife of the late Cleatus Dearl Wheat.

She is survived by 3 daughters: Vicki Guy and husband, Mike; Nicki Carver and husband, Alan and Traci Wheat, all of Scottsville, KY;

1 sister: Nell Turner, Scottsville, KY;

5 grandchildren: Shea Guy (Lauren);  Ashley Childers (Alex); Paige Hargett (Curtis); Drew Guy (David); Aylee Lovett (Brandon);

8 great grandchildren: Trace, Tytus and Tillie Childers; Charli, Bryar and Barrett Hargett; Brooks and Briggs Lovett;

1 niece: Pam Turner;

1 nephew: Terry Turner.

She was preceded in death by 1 son: Tim Wheat.

Funeral service will be 1:00 P.M. Thursday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Mike Harper and Bro. Jon Wesley Kirby officiating and burial in Clifton Cemetery.  Visitation will be 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Wednesday and after 7:00 A.M. Thursday until funeral time.  In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Clifton Cemetery Fund.  Donations may be made at Goad Funeral Home.
