Faye (Driver) Buchanon

Faye Buchanon, 80, of Scottsville, KY passed away Wednesday, March 13, 2024 at her residence.  The Scottsville, KY native was a former employee of Potter Brumfield, General Electric and A. O. Smith and a member of New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church.  She was a daughter of the late Albert K. Driver and Mamie Lee Swindle Driver. 

She is survived by 1 son:  Richard Buchanon, Scottsville, KY; 

1 daughter:  Connie Woodard, Lafayette, TN; 

1 brother:  Phillip Driver and wife, Teresa, Scottsville, KY; 

2 sisters:  Virginia Conner, Scottsville, KY and Kathy Moore and husband, Clay, Westmoreland, TN; 

1 sister-in-law:  Barbara Driver, Scottsville, KY; 

5 grandchildren:  Amanda Buchanon, Joe Buchanon, Christy Jones, Cassie Anderson (Wesley) and Jessica Moss; 

12 great grandchildren:  Austin Buchanon, Aaliyah Buchanon, Katie Jones, Johnny Jones, Alexis Anderson, Bentley Anderson, Shayla Anderson, Kaylie Anderson, Breighlyn Anderson, Michael Scott Moss, Logan Beach and Brayden Moss; 

1 great great granddaughter:  Kennedy Nichols. 

She was preceded in death by a son:  Bobby Buchanon, Jr.; a son-in-law:  James Woodard; 2 sisters:  Sue Medley and Margaret Bratcher; 2 brothers:  Bill Driver and Clay Driver (Peggy).

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Kevin Hinton and Bro. Danny Patrick officiating and burial in New Bethel Baptist Cemetery.  Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday and after 7:00 a.m. until funeral time Saturday at Goad Funeral Home.
