Emogene Huntsman Lyles, 91, of Scottsville, KY passed away Monday, August 1, 2022 at the Medical Center at Scottsville. The Scottsville, KY native was a homemaker, retired employee of Scotscraft, former employee of Washington Overall Manufacturing, Allen County War Memorial Hospital, Kim's Nursery and Doyle Florist, a 1948 graduate of Allen County High School and attended Murray State College. She was a lifelong member of Union Chapel United Methodist Church where she was member of the choir, Sunday school teacher and United Methodist Women, member of Unionette Homemakers and past President of Allen County Homemakers. She was a daughter of the late Samp Wesley Huntsman and Florence Tracy Huntsman and wife of the late Charles Bernard Lyles.
She is survived by 1 son: Terry W. Lyles (Dee Smith), Scottsville, KY;
2 daughters: Susan Law, Scottsville, KY and Tammy Witcher, Glasgow, KY;
8 grandchildren: Matt Myers; Tara McKibben (John); Chuck Lyles (April); Ashlee Goodson; Bradley Hood (Stephanie); James David Lyles (Tara); Casey Sturgeon (Keith); Corey Witcher (Lizi);
18 great grandchildren: Cody, Hope, Wyatt, Casen, Aspen, Cannon, Cruz, Mallory, Colin, Kami, Ryan, Norah, Clay, Elin, Mila, Tate, Ethan and Chloe;
She was preceded in death by 1 son: Charles Michael Lyles; 2 brothers: Lucian Huntsman and Maxie Huntsman; 3 sisters: Clytie Grissom, Lois Cassaday and Beulah Morris.
Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Saturday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Danny Patrick and Bro. Maxie McGuffey officiating and burial in Union Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be 12:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Friday and after 7:00 A.M. Saturday at Goad Funeral Home.
