Edward Lynn Douglas, 77, of Scottsville, KY passed away Friday, September 12, 2025 at Cal Turner Rehab & Specialty Care. He was born in Nashville, TN and was a farmer, retired employee of A.O. Smith and General Electric, a Viet Nam U.S. Army veteran and attended Pleasant Grove General Baptist Church. He was a son of the late Bennie Lynn Douglas and Lera Adelle Gilliam Douglas and husband of the late Carolyn Sue Carter Douglas.
He is survived by 2 sons: Robert Douglas and wife, Tamara, Elizabethtown, KY and David Douglas and wife, Beverly, Adolphus, KY;
2 daughters: Teresa Stewart and Emily Creek and husband, Jeremy, all of Scottsville, KY;
2 brothers: Lonnie Douglas, Glasgow, KY and Jackie Douglas and wife, Patsy, Lafayette, TN;
1 sister: Linda Arney and husband, Tom, Elizabethtown, KY;
8 grandchildren: Heather Whitley (Chris); Stephanie Whitley; Jacob Stewart (Andrea); Tabitha Douglas, Sebastian Douglas, Taylor Douglas, Carter Douglas and Lilla Creek.
3 great grandchildren: Cadence Wondergem, Hayden Wondergem and Riley Beard.
Graveside service will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday at Allen County Memorial Gardens with Bro. Lawrence Gilliam officiating. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Hospice. Donations may be made at Goad Funeral Home.
