Eddie Thornton

Eddie Thornton, 62, of Adolphus, KY passed away Tuesday, August 1, 2023 at his residence.  The Franklin, KY native was a farmer and construction worker and a son of the late Raleigh Franklin Thornton and Judith Ann Aspin Thornton. 

He is survived by his wife:  Jennifer Thornton, Adolphus, KY; 

1 son:  Johnny Thornton; 

2 daughters:  Amanda and Cheryl;

1 step son:  Murl Blankenship, Jr. and wife, Linda, Michigan; 

2 step daughters:  Jennifer Roach, Ohio and Faye Jones and husband, Steve, Scottsville, KY; 

3 brothers:  Rod Thornton and wife, Angela, Bowling Green, KY; Dan Thornton, Auburn, KY and Tim Thornton and wife, Cathy, Rockfield, KY; 

1 sister:  Debra Wood and husband, Galen, Lewisburg, KY; 

A brother-in-law:  Steve Richey; 

13 step grandchildren:  Tia, Ana, Matthew, Joshua, Marcus, Draven, Maximus, Ian, Haley, Autumn, Anthony, Madison and Katelynn; 

4 step great grandchildren:  Rayden Webb, Clayton Olson, Adleigh Lowe and Gunner Lowe. 

He was preceded in death by a sister:  Anita Richey. 

Funeral service will be 2:30 p.m. Friday, August 4, 2023 at Abounding Grace Ministries with Bro. Marvey B Wood officiating and burial in Allen County Memorial Gardens.  Visitation will be after 10:00 a.m. Friday until funeral time at Abounding Grace.  In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations for funeral expenses.  Donations may be made at Goad Funeral Home or Abounding Grace Ministries.
