Eddie Jones

Eddie Jones, 77, of Fountain Run, KY passed away Tuesday, January 28, 2025 at Hospice House in Bowling Green, KY.  The Fountain Run, KY native was a farmer, former employee of General Electric and A.O. Smith, member of Fountain Run Volunteer Fire Department where he served as Chief for 10 years, member of Fountain Run Old Missionary Baptist Church, member and former President of Fountain Run Men's Club.  He was  a son of the late Sewell Sanford Jones and Jacqueline Downing Jones.

He is survived by his wife: Jane Pardue Jones, Ft. Run, KY;

2 sons: Nathan Edward Jones (Melissa) and Jeremy Patrick Jones (Megan), all of Ft. Run, KY;

1 brother: Gary Wayne Jones (Sheila), Scottsville, KY;

5 grandchildren: Clay Bishop Jones (Katie), Caroline Reed Jones, Colt Patrick Jones, Reese Alaine Jones and Maggie Louise Jones.

Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Mike Harper officiating and burial in Fountain Run Cemetery.  Visitation will be 2:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Friday and after 7:00 A.M. Saturday until funeral time at Goad Funeral Home.  In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Hospice House.  Donations may be made at Goad Funeral Home.
