Earl C. Dinkins, 83, of Scottsville, KY passed away Tuesday, August 15, 2023 at the Medical Center at Scottsville. The Adolphus, KY native was a retired employee for State Highway Department and a son of the late Thomas Leo Dinkins and Pauline Graves Dinkins.
He is survived by his wife: Betty Dinkins, Scottsville, KY;
1 brother: Arlie Dinkins and wife, Junie, Scottsville, KY;
1 sister: Reba Cornwell, Scottsville, KY;
Several nieces and nephews that he thought of as his children: Roger Lambert, Jeff Lambert, Jennifer Dinkins, Timmy Dinkins, Julie Shockley, Bonnie Caldwell, Kristy Potter and Erin Palk.
He was preceded in death by 1 brother: James Dinkins and 1 sister: Joyce Lambert.
Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Timmy Saylors officiating and burial in Walker's Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be after 10:00 A.M. Saturday until funeral time at Goad Funeral Home. New Roe Lodge #592 F & A.M will hold Masonic rites at 2:00 P.M. Saturday with the funeral service to follow.
