Dwight Paul Wingfield, 71, of Springfield, TN passed away Sunday, October 13, 2024 at Tri-Star North Crest Medical Center in Springfield. The Scottsville, KY native was a retired concrete mason and a son of the late Wendell Wingfield and Edna Earl Bessinger Wingfield.
He is survived by his wife: Barbara Wingfield, Springfield, TN;
1 son: Dwight Wingfield;
3 daughters: Crystal Williams (Vernon); Wendy Osburn (Wes), Etoile, KY; Jessica Dean (Jay), Bowling Green, KY;
1 step son: Daryl Bartsch (Pauline), Tampa, FL;
2 sisters: Kathy Jarvis, Russellville, KY and Kay Howell (Jr.), Franklin, KY;
10 grandchildren: Mac Ward (Tyler); Violet Williams; Erin Scott (Joe); Ethan Osburn, Star Cabrera (Hector); Skyann Towe; Jordan Dean, Journey Dean, Ranger Dean and Jackson Dean;
5 great grandchildren;
He was preceded in death by 1 brother: Jimmy Wingfield and 2 sisters: Sandra Louise Wingfield and Wilma Christine Wingfield.
There will be no visitation or funeral service. Cremation was chosen. Goad Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the American Cancer Society. Donations may be made at Goad Funeral Home.
