Doug Hogue, 87, of Scottsville, KY passed away Friday, June 19, 2026 at the Medical Center at Bowling Green. The Scottsville, KY native was the owner and operator of Hogue's Body Shop for 60 years and member of Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church. He was a son of the late William Everett Hogue and Ethel Carver Hogue.
He is survived by his wife: Lynn Hogue, Scottsville, KY;
2 sons: Rickey Cooksey and wife, Reba, and Brian Hogue and wife, April, all of Scottsville, KY;
1 daughter: Tracy Holland, Scottsville, KY;
1 sister: Adean Woods, Nicholasville, KY;
5 grandchildren: Lyndsey Webb (Roger); Ashley Bates (Chris); Cory Holland (Haley); Britni Bell (Timothy); Isaac Hogue (Chloe);
13 great grandchildren: Tanner Webb, Connor Webb, Parker Webb, Spencer Atwood, Warren Bates, Boden Bates, Tanner Wayne Bates, Kaislee Holland, Kamdyn Holland, Aubree Bell, Charlotte Bell, Sylvie Hogue and 1 unborn Baby Bell;
1 nephew: Kevin Woods (Carla), Nicholasville, KY;
1 niece: Donna Woods, Tompkinsville, KY.
Funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. Tuesday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Danny Patrick and Bro. Isaac Hogue officiating and burial in Crescent Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Monday and after 7:00 A.M. Tuesday until funeral time at Goad Funeral Home.
