Dorothy (Ferrell) Wheet

Dorothy Wheet, 67, of Adolphus, KY passed away Sunday, October 22, 2023 at Hospice House in Bowling Green, KY.  The Champaign, Illinois native was a homemaker, former employee of Sumitomo and Gallatin Health Care and a General Baptist.  She was a daughter of the late Homer Clayton Ferrell and Margaret Andrea Doan Ferrell.

She is survived by her husband: Gary Wheet, Adolphus, KY;

1 brother: Bill Ferrell and wife, Blanca, Streamwood, IL;

2 sisters: Laura Jo Ann Ferrell, Bowling Green, KY and Maureen Brockway and husband, Ken, Rantoul, IL;

2 aunts: Brenda Bell and husband, Webb, Adolphus, KY and Glennis Scott, IN;

She was preceded in death by her mother-in-law: Burnell Wheet.

Funeral service will be 1:00 P.M. Thursday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Larry Emery officiating and burial in Oak Forest No. 1 Cemetery.  Visitation will be 9:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. Thursday at Goad Funeral Home.  In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations for funeral expenses.  Donations may be made at Goad Funeral Home.
