Diana Lynn (Cockrill) Blankenship

Diana Lynn Blankenship, 66, of Scottsville, KY passed away Thursday, January 16, 2024 at Baptist Hospital in Louisville, KY.  The Scottsville, KY native was a homemaker and a daughter of the late Odell Cockrill and Gloria Dean Perry Blankenship. 

She is survived by 1 son:  Lonnie Blankenship and wife, Sandra, Scottsville, KY; 

1 daughter:  Deana Jones, Scottsville, KY; 

1 sister:  Gloria Marlene Frost, Scottsville, KY; 

4 grandchildren:  Anthony Blankenship, Cody Jones, Garry Holder (Kristin) and Stephanie Thomas (Jeremy); 

3 great grandchildren:  Kadence Spears, Kennedy Walker and Kinsley Jones. 

She was preceded in death by a brother:  Roger Dale Cockrill. 

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Keith Patrick officiating and burial in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.  Visitation will be after 10:00 a.m. Sunday until funeral time at Goad Funeral Home.  In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations for funeral expenses.  Donations may be made at Goad Funeral Home.
