Debbie Jewell Meador, 69, of Scottsville, KY passed away Tuesday, December 31, 2024 at Cal Turner Rehab and Specialty Care. The Scottsville, KY native was a former employee of Allen County Clerk's Office, she was saved at the age of 8 years old and was a member of Scottsville Old Fashioned Missionary Baptist Church. She was a daughter of the late Peachie McDonald Franklin and Thelma Jewell Bullington Cherry Taylor.
She is survived by her husband of 51 years: Steve Meador, Scottsville, KY;
1 son: Craig Meador (Amy), Scottsville, KY;
1 daughter: Britni Coffey, Scottsville, KY;
2 sisters: Nelda Duke, Scottsville, KY and Nancy Scott, Bowling Green, KY;
5 grandchildren: Cole Meador, Ashlyn Meador, Jax Coffey, Keller Coffey and Townes Tabor.
She was preceded in death by 3 brothers: Donald Franklin, Dennis Franklin and John Franklin.
Funeral service will be 1:00 P.M. Monday at Goad Funeral Home with Elder Mark Meador and Elder Eric Phillips officiating and burial in Allen County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 11:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M. Sunday and after 7:00 A.M. Monday until funeral time at Goad Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Scottsville Old Fashioned Missionary Baptist Church. Donations may be made at Goad Funeral Home.
