Danny Ray Moore

Danny Ray Moore, 71, of Scottsville, KY passed away Friday, June 13, 2025 at the Medical Center at Bowling Green.  The Lafayette, TN native was a former employee of Dollar General, an ordained minister and member of Open Door Outreach Church.  He was a son of the late Willie Earl Moore and Mary Edith Slayton Moore.

He is survived by his wife: Pat Moore, Scottsville, KY;

1 son: Janssen Moore, Brownsville, KY;

2 daughters: Fredeana Witcher and Carolyn Moore, both of Scottsville, KY;

1 brother: Arthur Clay Moore and wife, Kathy, Westmoreland, TN;

1 sister: Johnnie Gardner, Gallatin, TN;

1 grandson and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by 7 sisters: Florine Barker, Helen Harris, Libby Parker, Annie McClanahan, Pauline Likens and infants: Faye Moore and Maye Moore and 1 brother: Bobby Moore.

Funeral service will be 1:00 P.M. Monday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Roy Shockley officiating and burial in Crescent Hill Cemetery.  Visitation will be 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Sunday and after 7:00 A.M. Monday until funeral time at Goad Funeral Home.
