Cornelia (Hogue) Carver

Cornelia Hogue Carver, 87, Scottsville, KY passed away Monday, April 28, 2025 at Cal Turner Rehab & Specialty Care.  The Scottsville, KY native was a former employee of Scotscraft, member of Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church and formerly attended Cedar Cross Missionary Baptist Church where she was saved as a young girl.  She was the daughter of the late Arthur C. Hogue and Noma Belle Holder Hogue and wife of the late Lee Odell Carver. 

She is survived by her son:  Greg Carver and wife, Dar Rita, Scottsville, KY; 

1 sister-in-law:  Patty Hogue, Scottsville, KY; 

1 granddaughter:  Taylor York (Austin); 

2 great grandchildren:  Anderson and Addyson York; 

2 step grandchildren:  Angel Clark (David) and James Jackson; 

4 step great grandchildren:  Jordan Gunter (Bekah), Whitley Woods (Justice), Mikey Peay (Cybile) and Parker Thompson; 

7 great great grandchildren;

1 nephew:  Morris Hogue and wife, Kim, Scottsville, KY and 

A special friend:  Irene MacDonald, Scottsville, KY. 

She was preceded in death by her brother:  Franklin Hogue.

Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, May 2, 2025 at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Robby Calvert and Bro. Jeff Costello officiating and burial in Crescent Hill Cemetery.  Visitation will be 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday and after 7:00 a.m. Friday until funeral time at Goad Funeral Home.
