Cindy Sue Nichols

Cindy Sue Nichols, 64, of Adolphus, KY passed away Saturday, July 4, 2026, at T. J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow.  She was a former Cheatham County School Bus Driver, babysitter and loving nana.  She was born in Nashville, TN to the late Charles Henderson "Chubby" Nichols and Betty Blanche Hardaway Nichols and wife of the late Jerry Wayne Barnes. 

She is survived by a daughter:  Shawna Meadows and husband, Roger, all of Adolphus, KY; 

2 grandsons:  Gaven Meadows and Braxton Meadows, both of Adolphus, KY; 

4 brothers:  Michael "Mike" Norman, Murfreesboro, TN; Carl "David" Nichols and wife, Carrell; Charles "Chuck" Nichols and wife, Sheila and Ricky Nichols, all of Adolphus, KY; 

1 uncle, 6 nephews, 1 niece, 6 great nephews, 5 great nieces and several cousins. 

She was preceded in death by a daughter:  Shannon LeAnn Nichols and 1 brother:  Kenneth Nichols. 

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Goad Funeral Home with Braxton Meadows, Carl "David" Nichols and Eric Nichols officiating and burial in Oak Forest No. 1 Cemetery.  Visitation will be after 10:00 a.m. Wednesday until funeral time at Goad Funeral Home.  Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations for funeral expenses.  Donations may be made at Goad Funeral Home.
