Chris Russell, 51, of Holland, KY passed away Saturday, April 4, 2020 at his residence. The Tompkinsville, KY native was an employee of Rich Logging, an ordained minister and member of True Gospel Fellowship Church. He was a son of the late Ray Ewing Russell, Jr. and Margie Louise Meador Yokley, who survives.
He is survived by his wife of 31 years: Angela Russell, Holland, KY;

2 sons: Logan Russell and wife, Valerie, Scottsville, KY and Jose Canchola, Bowling Green, KY;
6 daughters: Tonya Akin and husband, Jimmy; Raelyn Russell and Adalynn Russell, all of Scottsville, KY; Nina Guerrero, Dana Cole and Tia Tutt, all of Bowling Green, KY;
3 brothers: Jr. Ray Russell and wife, Kathy, Holland, KY; Toby Russell, Akersville, KY and Shawn Russell and wife, Robin, Scottsville, KY;
5 sisters: Linda Jo Turner, Mt. Hermon, KY; Teresa Coates and husband, J. C., NC; Lanelle Holland, Scottsville, KY; Nellie Russell and Sonya Russell, both of Tompkinsville, KY;
4 grandchildren: Callen Haffner, Ezria Russell and Chance Akin and an unborn granddaughter: Ellaryn Russell.
He was preceded in death by his father: Jr. Russell; step father: Larry Yokley and brother-in-law: Frankie Turner.
Private family service will be held Monday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Scott Cline and Bro. Mike Smith officiating and burial in Highland Cemetery with Bro. Freddy Graves officiating the graveside service. A celebration of life will be held at a later date for family and friends. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to True Gospel Fellowship Church Food Pantry. Donations may be mailed to Goad Funeral Home. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, we will be having a drive-thru viewing from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the carport. You may view from your car ONLY!
