Charles R. Duke

Bishop Charles R. Duke, 79, of Adolphus, KY passed away Sunday, March 24, 2024 at the Hospice House in Bowling Green, KY.  Charles was born in Woodbury, KY and was a retired Church of God of Prophecy minister who had pastored 10+ churches in Kentucky and Tennessee and was the former regional overseer of 10 churches while living in Selmer, TN.  He was a son of the late Nolvis Edward Duke and Delma Clois Steenbergen Curtis. 

He is survived by his wife of 62 years:  Margaret Duke, Adolphus, KY; 

1 son:  Nicky Richard Duke, Adolphus, KY; 

1 daughter:  Danite Duke, Adolphus, KY; 

1 sister:  Carolyn Frances Hatcher, Smith Grove, KY; 

1 half brother:  Timmy Edward Duke and wife, Kim, Scottsville, KY; 

1 half sister:  Cristy Johnson and husband, Dean, Utah; 

3 grandchildren:  Joseph Dustin Duke, Kayla Marie Armour and Nicholas Kane Duke. 

He was preceded in death by 1 brother:  Steven Kiper and 2 sisters:  Neoma Snodgrass and Brenda Sue Duke. 

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.  Cremation was chosen and Goad Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.  Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations for funeral expenses or St. Jude's.  Donations may be made at Goad Funeral Home.
