Cathryn Long Stinson, 93, of Scottsville, KY passed away Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at Greenview Regional Hospital in Bowling Green. The Cincinnati, OH native was a retired nurses aide at the Allen County War Memorial Hospital and attended East Willow Church of God and Abounding Grace Ministries. She was a daughter of the late Jasper Taylor Long and Nancy Annie Taylor Long and wife of the late James Eugene Stinson.
She is survived by 2 sons: Larry C. Stinson and wife, Velma, and Jerry Stinson and wife, Debbie, all of Scottsville, KY;
1 daughter: Shenna Kaye Minix and husband, Bro. Owen, Scottsville, KY;
1 brother: Grover Long, Adolphus, KY;
11 grandchildren: Tamala Workman (Charles), Barry Graves (Karrie), Rhonda Dennis, Daniel Graves (Shena), Holly Thomason (Robert), Nikki West (CJ), Mary Beth Grubbs (Jonathan), Shelly Johnson (Mike), Amanda Mansfield (Steven), Brooke Stinson (fiance' Gary Phillips) and Kali Minix;
14 great grandchildren: Kathryn Thomason, Cooper Thomason, Caiden West, Logan Graves, Catie Hood, Tiffney Sanders, Ashley Smoczynski, McKenzie Dennis, Savannah Driver, Brittany Pedigo, Cy Graves, Lane Graves, Cayde Clapp and Bricen Mansfield;
3 great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by 1 son: James Louie Stinson; 1 daughter: Virginia Catherine Graves (Danny); 2 sisters: Faye Kuykendall and Louise Miller; 4 brothers: Jasper Long, Willard Long, Frank Long and Lewie B. Long.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Danny Patrick, Bro. Elvis Farley and Bro. Owen Minix officiating and burial in Crescent Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Saturday and after 8:00 a.m. Sunday until funeral time at Goad Funeral Home.
