Carolyn Wolfe Turner, 76, of Scottsville, KY passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at Greenview Regional Hospital in Bowling Green. Our beloved momma, nanny, wife and friend loved and served her whole life. She had a servant's heart and was alway sacrificing for other. She served hundred of Allen County students, cooked thousands of meals and lovingly served as a minister's wife for a number of years. She was proud of her life and legacy--her family. She retired from the Allen County School System and was a member of Open Door Outreach Church. She was a daughter of the late Marshall Owen Wolf and Pernie Huntsman Wolfe Keith.
She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of nearly 60 years: Bro. Jimmy Turner, Scottsville, KY;
1 son: Todd Turner and wife, Emily, Portland, TN;
2 daughters: Penny Martin, Portland, TN and Tanya Buttry and husband, Shane, Bowling Green, KY;
A sister-in-law: Ann Wolfe, Westmoreland, TN;
5 grandchildren: Krystal Bradford (Josh), Whitney Goostree (Ryan), Josh Martin (Carolyn), Turner Buttry and Tate Buttry;
9 great grandchildren who were her pride and joy; and
Several nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, waiting in heaven are 2 brothers: William Louis Wolfe and Larry Owen Wolf; 1 sister: Frances Petty and great granddaughter: Kora Grace Bradford.
Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Friday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Roy Shockley officiating and burial in Union Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday and after 7:00 a.m. Friday until funeral time at Goad Funeral Home. The family wishes to send a special thank you to the staff at Greenview Regional Hospital and Western Kentucky Orthopedics and Neurological Associates for their care and compassion.
