Carolyn (Keen) Berry

Carolyn Keen Berry, 70, of Scottsville, KY passed away Saturday, September 28, 2024 at Greenwood Nursing and Rehab in Bowling Green, KY.  The Adolphus, KY native was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom, former employee of Washington Overall Manufacturing, Kentucky Apparel and Apex Apparel and attended Abounding Grace Ministries.  She was a daughter of the late Rossie Keen and Zettie Frances Hanner Keen and wife of the late Jessie Clyde Berry. 

She is survived by 3 sons:  Daniel Threet and Matthew Berry and wife, Elizabeth, all of Scottsville, KY and Dale Berry and wife, Jennifer, Lafayette, TN; 

1 daughter:  Deborah Bates, Bowling Green, KY; 

1 brother:  Dewey Keen and wife, Barbara, Scottsville, KY; 

A sister-in-law:  JoAnn Keen Madison, Scottsville, KY; 

9 grandchildren:  Jacob Starks, Whitney Merchant, Amber Sikes, Shelby Berry, Chrissy Gammons, Tyler Ethridge, Claira Berry, Addyson Berry and Dalton Threet; 

4 great grandchildren:  Olivia Starks, Birdie Merchant, Julian Starks and Asher Portillo. 

She was preceded in death by 1 sister:  Nina Lonas; 4 brothers:  Alvin, Larry, Joe and Ralph Keen; a daughter-in-law:  Jennifer Threet and a grandson:  Joshua Lyons. 

Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Todd Bullington and Bro. Elvis Farley officiating and burial in Oak Forest No. 1 Cemetery.  Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday and after 7:00 a.m. until funeral time Wednesday at Goad Funeral Home.  Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Oak Forest No. 1 Cemetery.  Donations may be made at Goad Funeral Home.
