Carol Dean (Russell) Sanders

Carol Dean Sanders, 83, of Adolphus, KY passed away Saturday, June 15, 2024 at Cal Turner Rehab & Specialty Care.  The Munfordville, KY native was a former residence of Briarwood Shores.  She was a daughter of the late David Henry Russell and Ethel Leen Philpot Russell and wife of the late Carl Edwin "Bob" Sanders. 

She is survived by 1 son:  Shawn Edwin Sanders and wife, Kim, Brownsville, KY; 

1 daughter:  Karen Graves and husband, Ronnie, Adolphus, KY; 

3 grandchildren:  Jacob Graves (Carissa), Lesley Link (Eddie) and Ben Sanders; 

3 great grandchildren:  Hailey Saunders (Dillon), Harrison Link and Hatcher Link; 

2 bonus grandsons:  Tony Crews and wife, Kaye, and Kelly Crews and wife, Melissa and their children. 

She was preceded in death by 2 sisters:  Marilyn Jean "Jeannie" Russell and Nadine Steenbergen. 

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Ronnie Graves officiating and burial in Walker's Chapel Cemetery.  Visitation will be after 10:00 a.m. Tuesday until funeral time at Goad Funeral Home.
