Carol Elizabeth (Stinson) Dehart

Carol Elizabeth Stinson Dehart, 84, of Scottsville, KY passed away Friday, November 7, 2025 at the Medical Center at Bowling Green.  The Lovington, Illinois native was a former school cook, former employee of Canteen at G.E., early morning paper deliverer for 10 years and former EMT, Firefighter and Radio operator in Atwood, IL and member of New Life Community Church.  She was a daughter of the late Lawrence Kenneth Stinson and Theresa Aileen Phillips Stinson.

She is survived by her husband of 66 years: Robert "Bob" Dehart, Scottsville, KY;

3 sons: Larry Dehart (Fran), Champaign, IL; Steve Dehart (Christine), Sacramento, CA and John Dehart (Renise), Owings Mill, MD;

3 daughters: Penny Bruno, Springfield, TN; Tami Cox (John), Mattoon, IL and Lorie Dilts (Bruce), Dixon, CA;

1 brother: Kenneth Stinson (Laura), Somanauk, IL;

1 sister: Joan Edwards, Dover, DE;

9 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. Thursday, November 13, 2025 at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Lee Reels officiating and burial in Allen County Memorial Gardens.  Visitation will be 3:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. Wednesday and after 7:00 A.M. Thursday until funeral time at Goad Funeral Home.
