Brian Michael Ratkovich, 68, of Scottsville, KY passed away peacefully Sunday, June 9, 2024 at the Hospice House in Bowling Green, KY with his loving wife, Anna, by his side. The Plainfield, IL native founded in 1977 with his brother, Mark, R & R Septic in Plainfield/Shorewood, IL, and he and his wife, Anna, owned Anna's Portables. Brian enjoyed camping with his wife, auto shows, cars and motorcycles and just tinkering in his barn. He was a son of the late John Walter Ratkovich and Marjorie Bokan Ratkovich.
He is survived by his devoted wife: Anna Ratkovich, Scottsville, KY;
A step son: Tomasz Bronikowski;
2 grandsons: Niko and Oskar Bronikowski;
1 brother: Mark (Kathleen) Ratkovich;
2 sisters: Karen (David) Ivlow and Toni Birkett;
Nephews: John Ivlow, Richard Birkett, Gregory Birkett, Bo Ratkovich and Ronald (Erica) Tibble;
Nieces: Melissa (James) Zimmer, Rhiannon (Ronald) Bradley and Carrie (Damien) Cantona;
His in-laws: The Folfas family: Bronislaw, Anelia, Maria, Janina, Edita, Andrzej, Grazyna and Jasia and her daughters, Sylvia and Halina, of Poland and Canada;
The Rebidas family: Ann (Gail) and Frank (Teresa) of Rochester, MN;
Two special people in his life: Kimberly Ratkovich and Tim Norris.
He was preceded in death by a brother-in-law: Robert Birkett and a nephew: Scott Birkett.
There will be no visitation or funeral service. Cremation was chosen, and Goad Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
