Brenda Gale (Glass) York

Brenda Gale York, 64, of Adolphus, KY passed away Saturday, May 17, 2025 at her residence.  The Bowling Green, KY native was a former private in home caregiver, former employee of Harman-Becker and loving mother and grandmother.  She attended Shiloh Methodist Church and Pleasant Ridge Mission Church.  She was a daughter of the late Durine Wayne Glass and Joan Daugherty, who survives. 

She is survived by her husband:  Robert York, Adolphus, KY; 

Her mother:  Joan Daugherty, Bowling Green, KY; 

1 son:  Chadwick Windham, Adolphus, KY; 

3 daughters:  Lana Windham and Cierra York, both of Adolphus, KY and Misty-Kay Chance and husband, Carl, IN;

1 brother:  Dale Glass and wife, Brenda, Adolphus, KY; 

5 sisters:  Rita Glass, Tammy Glass, Tracy Slate and Patty Marcotte, all of Bowling Green, KY and Barbara Lea and husband, Louis, Amity, AR;

20 grandchildren:  Tori, Alana, Jacob, Shelby, Kaitlynn, Madison, Skyla, Jaylee, Jasmine, Billy, Akyra, Ajayden, Gabriel, Adley, Abbie, Kessler, Gracie, Bryson, Mara and Amyah; 

5 great grandchildren:  Waylon, Adain, Dax, Jackson and Ty. 

She was preceded in death by a daughter:  Jennifer Flatt and 1 unborn grandchild. 

Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at Goad Funeral Home with Rev. Barbara Lea and Pastor Nathan Lutterman officiating and burial in Mt. Olive Cemetery.  Visitation will be after 10:00 a.m. Wednesday until funeral time at Goad Funeral Home.   In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations for funeral expenses.  Donations may be made at Goad Funeral Home.
