Brenda (Harp) Ritter

Brenda Harp Ritter, 58, of Scottsville, KY passed away Tuesday, February 17, 2026 at the Medical Center at Scottsville.  The Scottsville, KY native was a babysitter, former Pre-School Teacher at East End Christian Academy, former employee of Dollar General and Medical Center at Scottsville.  She was a member of Living Water Full Gospel Church, where she served as Sunday school teacher and worship leader.  She was a daughter of the late Elmer Hollis Harp and Joetta Berry Harp.

She is survived by her husband of 33 years: Anthony Ritter, Scottsville, KY;

2 daughters: Kala Ritter (Nick Nolan) and Gracie Ritter, all of Scottsville, KY;

2 brothers: Greg Harp, Scottsville, KY and Wayne Harp and wife, Connie, Glasgow, KY;

2 sisters: Melissa Davis and husband, James and Melisha Willoughby and husband, Jason, all of Scottsville, KY;

7 nieces and nephews: Craig Harp, Ciara Gregory, Brandon Burnley, Ethan Davis, Braylin Wright, Peyton Davis and Jaxon Wright;

2 great nieces and nephews: Carson Harp and D.J. Burnley.

Funeral service will be 1:00 P.M. Friday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Tony Green officiating and burial in Crescent Hill Cemetery.  Visitation will be after 10:00 A.M. Friday until funeral time at Goad Funeral Home.  In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations for funeral expenses.  Donations may be made at Goad Funeral Home.
