Bonita (Hudson) Stringer

Bonita J. Stringer, 82, of Indianapolis, IN passed away Sunday, January 22, 2023 at St. Francis Hospital in Indianapolis, IN.  The Scottsville, KY native was a former employee of Scotscraft and retired employee of Indianapolis Department of Parks and Recs.  She was a daughter of the late Felbert Ray Hudson and Addie Olene Minix Hudson and wife of the late Jerry Phillip Stringer. 

She is survived 3 nephews:  Kevin Dodd and wife, Wanda, Naples, FL; Bryan Dodd and wife, Debbie, Greenwood, IN; Curtis Dodd and wife, Courtney, New Palestine, IN; 

2 nieces:  Sharon Taylor and Janice Tabor, both of Indianapolis, IN; 

Several great and great great nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by 3 sisters:  Janice Hudson, Laverne Hudson and Daphne Hudson Dodd and husband, Ralph. 

Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Danny Patrick and Kevin Dodd officiating and burial in Crescent Hill Cemetery.  Visitation will be after 10:00 a.m. until funeral time Wednesday at Goad Funeral Home.
