Bobby Junior Stinson

Bobby Junior Stinson, 75, of Scottsville, KY passed away Wednesday, May 21, 2025 at the Medical Center at Scottsville.  He was born in Fountain Run, KY to the late James Edward Stinson and Daisy Jewell Sloan Stinson.  He was a retired employee of Unipres, a transporter for the Allen County Mennonite Community and attended Red Hill General Baptist Church. 

He is survived by his wife of 52 years:  Patricia Stinson, Scottsville, KY; 

1 son:  Bobby Joe "B.J." Stinson, Scottsville, KY; 

2 daughters  Marsha Groves and husband, Brian, and Michelle Rena Stinson, all of Scottsville, KY; 

3 sisters:  Shirley Adamson, Adolphus, KY and Martha Harrison and Patty Jo Webb, both of Scottsville, KY; 

4 grandchildren:   Dylan Musgrave and Logan, Hunter and Ann Groves. 

He was preceded in death by 2 grandchildren:  Courtney Brooke Stinson and Hunter Pass; 1 brother:  James Robert Stinson and 1 sister:  Sue Nell Matthews. 

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, May 25, 2025 at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Lynn Herrington officiating and burial in Red Hill Cemetery with military honors by Glasgow DAV Chapter 20.  Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Saturday and after 8:00 a.m. Sunday until funeral time at Goad Funeral Home.
