Bobby G. Herrington

Bobby G. Herrington, 81, of Scottsville, KY passed away Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at the Medical Center at Franklin.  The Franklin, KY native was a farmer, retired employee of General Electric and A.O. Smith, a U.S. Army veteran, a member of Walker's Chapel United Methodist Church and former member of Scottsville Lion's Club.  He was a son of the late Benjamin Gobel Herrington and Etta Belle Hinton Herrington.

He is survived by his wife: Doris Miller Herrington, Scottsville, KY;

2 sons: Todd Herrington, Lafayette, TN and Chuck Herrington and wife, Carrie, Scottsville, KY;

1 daughter: Darla Thompson and husband, Anthony, Scottsville, KY;

1 brother: Jerry Herrington, Adolphus, KY;

6 grandchildren: Derek Herrington and wife, Beth; Seth Herrington and fiancee', Sarah Rigdon; Will Herrington; Michael Herrington and wife, Ariel; Rachel Pennington and husband, Dylan and Parker Thompson;

2 great grandchildren: Liam Herrington and Ian Herrington and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by 1 brother: J.C. Herrington and 1 sister: Lillie B. Wood.

Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Friday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Maxie McGuffey and Bro. Wayne Neeley officiating and burial in Walker's Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be 11:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M. Thursday and after 7:00 A.M. Friday until funeral time at Goad Funeral Home.  In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Walker's Chapel Cemetery Fund. Donations may be made at Goad Funeral Home.
