Bobby Joe "Joker" Harrison

Bobby Joe "Joker" Harrison, 61, of Scottsville, KY passed away Tuesday, October 12, 2021 in Bowling Green, KY.  The Scottsville, KY native was a carpenter and member of East End General Baptist Church where he served as deacon for over 30 years.  He was a son of the late David Roy Harrison and Estell Smalling Harrison and husband of the late Penny Denise Sullivan Harrison. 

He is survived by 2 daughters:  Kayla Nichols and husband, Forrest, Munfordville, KY and Brandy Shae Green and husband, Johnny, Tompkinsville, KY; 

1 son:  Bryson Harrison, Scottsville, KY; 

3 brothers:  Roy W. Harrison and wife, Teressa, Scottsville, KY; Jerry Lynn Harrison and wife, Theresa, Adolphus, KY; Cordell Yates and wife, Mary, Indianapolis, IN; 

2 sisters:  Wanda Harrison, Scottsville, KY and Mary Jean Caldwell and husband, Charles, Adolphus, KY; 

1 sister-in-law:  Candy Bond, Scottsville, KY; 

2 grandsons:  Landan Green and Logan Green. 

He was preceded in death by 2 sisters:  Carolyn Doss and Joyce Sloan; 4 brothers:  David Harrison, Jr., Dewayne Harrison, Billy Harrison and Carl Wayne Yates. 

Funeral service will be 12:00 p.m. Sunday at East End General Baptist Church with Bro. Mike Harper officiating and burial in Crescent Hill Cemetery.  Visitation will be 2:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Saturday at Goad Funeral Home and after 9:00 a.m. Sunday at the church until funeral time.  In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations for funeral expenses.   Donations may be made at Goad Funeral Home.
