Bobby Dean Jones, 77, of Scottsville, KY passed away Thursday, April 29, 2021 at Hospice House of Southern Kentucky. The Nashville, TN native was a retired employee of Gerald Printing, former employee of the Macon County Times and Tompkinsville Printing and member of Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church. He was a son of the late James Harrison Jones and Willie Marie Asberry Jones.
He is survived by his wife: Betty C. Jones, Scottsville, KY;
1 son: Bryan K. Jones, Scottsville, KY;
1 daughter-in-law: Shannon Jones, Scottsville, KY;
His bonus children: Nelson Cundiff, Bowling Green, KY; Betty Moore and husband, Mark, Scottsville, KY and Jennifer Palmer and husband, Dave, Bowling Green, KY;
2 brothers: Johnny Jones and wife, Janet, Mt. Hermon, KY and J. T. Jones, Red Boiling Springs, TN;
2 sisters: Joyce Jones, Franklin, KY and Hilda Aubin, Tompkinsville, KY;
11 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his first wife: Bonnie Bowe Jones; a son: Ricky Jones; 1 sister: Ann Goolsby and 1 brother: Lee Roy Jones.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Robby Calvert officiating and burial in Crescent Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Saturday and after 8:00 a.m. Sunday until funeral time at Goad Funeral Home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to South Central Kentucky Council of The Blind. Donations may be made at Goad Funeral Home.
