Billy Edward Sullivan, 96, of Adolphus, KY passed away Tuesday, April 15, 2025 at the Medical Center at Bowling Green. The Adolphus, KY native was a former employee of RCA and custodian at Allen County Scottsville High. He was a son of the late Lonzo Wilson Sullivan, Sr. and Sally Effie Chandler Sullivan.
He is survived by his wife: Virginia Sullivan, Adolphus, KY;
2 daughters: Barbara Sullivan Gilbert, Castalian Springs, TN and Leasa Sullivan Crumbaugh and husband, Rev. Jeffrey, Glasgow, KY;
1 brother: Paul Sullivan, Adolphus, KY;
10 grandchildren: Julie Stirnemann (Nathan), Joshua Smith, Holly Crocker (James), Dean Crumbaugh (Heidi), Chrystal Miller (Nathan), Amy Castro (Patrick), Marie Sullivan, Mary Ann Diaz (Jose), Benny Ray Sullivan and Jonathan Graves;
20 great grandchildren: Benjamin, Levi, Andrew, Abigail, Eva, Bonnie, Chestin, Barrett, William, Kathryn, Colton, Henry, Alexander, Jonathan, Brooklynn, Jameson, Tyler, Joseph, Cheyenne and Addison;
Several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by 2 sons: Edward Eugene Sullivan and Thomas Ray Sullivan and 6 brothers: Jackson, James, Hubert, Lonzo Jr., John L. and Roy Lee Sullivan.
Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 22, 2025 at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Daniel Stirnemann and Bro. Kenny Sullivan officiating and burial in Maple Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday and after 7:00 a.m. Tuesday until funeral time at Goad Funeral Home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations for funeral expenses.
