Billy Coffee, 83, of Holland, KY passed away Tuesday, September 1, 2020 at the Medical Center at Bowling Green. The Gainesboro, TN native was a farmer and a son of the late Willie Ace Coffee and Georgie Richardson Coffee.
He is survived by 4 sons: Stanley Coffee, Holland, KY; Ronnie Coffee (Caroline) and Johnny Coffee (Janet), all of Lafayette, TN; Ricky Coffee (Darlene), Scottsville, KY;
4 daughters: Rose Coffee and Robbie Morris, both of Scottsville, KY; Tammy Coffee, Holland, KY and Julie Sherrard, Adolphus, KY;
1 brother: Thomas Coffee, Smiths Grove, KY;
6 sisters: Sally Trout, Dayton, OH; Kathleen Lloyd, Rockfield, KY; Juanita West, Gainesboro, TN; Dorothy Ray, Hermitage, TN; Grace Hall and Alta Brown (Mike), all of Bowling Green, KY;
21 grandchildren, 50 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews;
He was preceded in death by his former wife: Mattie Coffee; 3 brothers: Sammy Edward Coffee, James Coffee and Joe Coffee and 2 sisters: Elizann Wheeler and Loretta Gentry.
Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Saturday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Keith Patrick officiating and burial in Mt. Zion Cemetery. Visitation will be 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Friday and after 7:00 A.M. until funeral time Saturday at Goad Funeral Home. The service can be viewed on the Goad Funeral Home Facebook page beginning at 1:00 P.M. Saturday. According to the Kentucky Funeral Directors Association, social distancing and face mask are recommended and no PUBLIC lounge is available.
