Billie Joan (Wise) Blair

Billie Joan Wise Blair, 77, of Scottsville, KY passed away Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at the Medical Center at Bowling Green.  The Hodgenville, KY native was a homemaker and seamstress and a Pentecostal.  She was a daughter of the late Samuel Jones Wise and Virginia Mae Buster Marlott. 

She is survived by 2 sons:  Paul Merriam II and Edward Merriam, both of Shepherdsville, KY; 

1 daughter:  Helen Fann (Jerry), Scottsville, KY; 

Her life-long companion:  Paul Merriam, Shepherdsville, KY; 

2 sisters:  Schella Smith, Bowling Green, KY and Rebecca Horton, Taylorsville, KY; 

3 daughters-in-law:  Cheryl Trulock, Liberty, KY; Julia Merriam, Scottsville, KY; Denise Clemens, Shepherdsville, KY;

14 grandchildren:  Joshua Ottersbach, Amanda Ottersbach, Amy Ottersbach, Tracy Trulock Rhein (Allen), Tiffany Henderson (Josh), Samuel Trulock, Chris Trulock (Sabrina), James Clemens, Heather Clemens, John Paul Merriam, Jessica Merriam, Robert Fann, Laura Martin (Zach) and Desiree Fann; 

28 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter. 

She was preceded in death by 2 sons:  Samuel Trulock and Johann Merriam; 1 sister:  Dottie Buster; 1 brother:  David Horton; her previous husbands:  Lewis Trulock and Colonel "C. B." Blair. 

Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Jeff Edwards officiating and burial at a later date in the Guardian Angel Trulock Cemetery in Elkhorn, KY.  Visitation will be 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday and after 7:00 a.m. until funeral time Saturday at Goad Funeral Home.
