Beverly Jean Pruett Adams, 76, of Scottsville, KY passed away Thursday, May 30, 2024 at the Medical Center at Bowling Green. The Bowling Green, KY native was a graduate of Bowling Green High, a retired teacher's assistant for 28 years in the Allen County School System, former co-owner of John's Chicken Shack, former employee of The Citizens Times, former Jaycee-ette and member of First United Methodist Church. She was a daughter of the late Fred Ray Pruett and Wanda Lee Cherry Pruett.
She is survived by her husband: John Adams, Scottsville, KY;
1 son: Brad Adams and wife, Heather, Bowling Green, KY;
2 daughters: Johnna Hobdy and husband, Tim, Scottsville, KY and Nikki Adams, Alvaton, KY;
1 sister: Sharon McCollum and husband, John, Brooksville, FL;
3 grandchildren: Gabrielle Adams, Garrett Cooper and Matt Hobdy.
She was preceded in death by a grandson: Cory Cooper.
Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Chad Alderson officiating and burial in Crescent Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday and after 7:00 a.m. Tuesday until funeral time at Goad Funeral Home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the charity of your choice. Donations may be made at Goad Funeral Home.
