Bettie Lou (Whitlow) Buchanon

Bettie Lou Buchanon, 75, of Scottsville, KY passed away Monday, March 23, 2020 at Cal Turner Rehab and Specialty Care.  The Scottsville, KY native was a former employee of Washington Overall Manufacturing, former employee of the Allen County War Memorial Hospital and retired office clerk for the Medical Center at Scottsville.  She was the daughter of the late James Ewing Whitlow and Ida Lois York Whitlow and wife of the late Clovis Ray Wallace and Bobby Lee Buchanon, Sr. 

She is survived by 1 daughter:  Freda Hubbard and husband, Michael, Scottsville, KY; 

1 step daughter:  Connie Woodard and husband, James, Lafayette, TN; 

1 step son:  Mark Wallace, Indianapolis, IN;

2 granddaughters:  Wendy Charlton (Mike) and Whitney Scott (Jacob); 

3 great grandchildren:  Jordan Charlton, Justin Charlton and Emma Charlton and

Several step grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by 2 brothers:  Roy Whitlow and Harry Whitlow. 

Due to health regulations from our local and state government, the funeral service will be private family only at 2:00 p.m. Friday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Danny Patrick officiating and private burial in Crescent Hill Cemetery.  Thank you for your understanding, and please keep the family in your prayers.   Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the Allen or Warren County Humane Societies or American Cancer Society.  Donations may be made at Goad Funeral Home.
