Obituary
Bessie L. Tinsley, 102, of Scottsville, KY passed away Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at her residence. The Lafayette, TN native was a homemaker and member of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church in Macon County, TN. She was a daughter of the late Walter D. "Doc" Lonas and Ester Doss Lonas and wife of the late Charlie Henderson Marson and George Tinsley.
She is survived by 2 daughters: Charity Britt and Milie Britt, both of Scottsville, KY;
1 brother: Clessie Lonas and wife, Doris, Adolphus, KY;
1 grandson: Jerry Lee Britt (Christina);
She was preceded in death by 3 brothers: Cecil Lonas, Dessie Lonas and Jesse Lonas; 3 sisters: Tessie Carver, Essie Meador and Kathleen Lonas.
Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Sunday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Elvis Farley officiating and burial in Scott Cemetery. Visitation will be 3:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Saturday and after 8:00 A.M. Sunday until funeral time at Goad Funeral Home.
