Beatrice Stinson (Long) Meador

Beatrice Long Stinson Meador, 92, of Scottsville, KY passed away Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at the Medical Center at Bowling Green.  The Scottsville, KY native was a former farmer, employee of Kirsch Company, Dollar General and Foster's Nursing Home.  She was a member of Aberdeen Baptist Church and a daughter of the late William Henry Long and Eula Viola Driver Long.  She was preceded in death by her first husband of 33 years, Chester Lewis Stinson, of Scottsville and her second husband of 33 years, Ralph C. Meador, of Morgantown. 

She is survived by 2 sons:  William Dan Stinson and wife, Jeanetta, and James Roy Stinson, all of Scottsville, KY; 

1 step son:  Dennis Meador and wife, Yetta, Bowling Green, KY; 

2 step daughters:  Sharon Meador Green, Winchester, KY and Lisa Meador Brooks Henderson and husband, Paul, Morgantown, KY; 

1 brother:  Lattie B. Long, Bowling Green, KY; 

2 grandchildren:  Tracy Stinson Davis and Chris Stinson; 

4 great grandchildren:  Blake (Bethany), Hailey, Codey and Olivia

10 step grandchildren:  Paul Green, Michael Brooks (Stacie), Josh Brooks (Jennifer), Daniel Brooks (April), Shirley Green Williams (Tim), Robert (Sara), Robin, Josh (Stephanie), Colton and Tamara; 

16 step great grandchildren:  Rachel, Jordan, Leslie, Scotti, Dylan, Carter, Isabelle, Jenna, Jase, Lillie, Jaydan, Jaycee, Daxton, Josh, Jacey, Carleigh, Kinsley, Paisley and Madeline; 

Several nieces, nephews and cousins. 

She was preceded in death by her son:  Lewis Ray Stinson; 5 brothers:  Edward Long, Nolan Long, J. R. Long, Charles Long and Landon C. Long and 2 step sons-in-law:  Bill Green and David Brooks. 

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Danny Patrick and Bro. Mike Harper officiating and burial in Oak Forest No. 2 Cemetery.  Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Saturday and after 8:00 a.m. Sunday until funeral time at Goad Funeral Home.
