Barbara Ann (Meador) Smith

Barbara Ann Smith, 88, of Scottsville, KY passed away Wednesday, June 19, 2024 at the Hospice House in Bowling Green, KY.  The Scottsville, KY native was a seamstress, former cook at Scottsville Elementary, loving mama and granny and a member of Mt. Union Methodist Church.  She was a daughter of the late Raymond Meador and Lou Anna Foster Meador and wife of the late Reuben Lee Smith. 

She is survived by 1 son:  Herb Smith and wife, Jane, Scottsville, KY; 

1 sister:  Frances Brown, Scottsville, KY; 

1 sister-in-law:  Virginia Meador, Lafayette, TN; 

2 grandchildren:  Natalie Davis and husband, Shane and Janea Williams and husband, Evan;

4 great grandchildren:  Aidan Davis and Will, Blayne and Ace Moore. 

She was preceded in death by a brother:  Kenneth Meador. 

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Taylor Landers and Bro. Chuck Pruitt officiating and burial in Crescent Hill Cemetery.  Visitation will be 4:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Saturday and after 8:00 a.m. Sunday until funeral time at Goad Funeral Home.
