Obituary

Barbara Blankenship Murphy, 62, of Scottsville, KY passed away Sunday, April 24, 2022 at the Medical Center at Bowling Green.  The Tampa, FL native was a homemaker and a daughter of the late Haskel Ray Blankenship and Mary Fay Beller Blankenship. 

She is survived by her husband:  Roger Murphy, Scottsville, KY; 

3 sons:  Timothy York and Donald York, both of Adolphus, KY and Roger Napier (Mary Ellen), Glasgow, KY; 

1 daughter:  Kandie Payne Jenkins, Scottsville, KY; 

3 brothers:  Haskel Blankenship (April), Scottsville, KY; Daniel Blankenship and Clarence Blankenship, both of Franklin, KY; 

2 sisters:  Loretta Hooten (Phillip), Alvaton, KY and Patricia York (Roger), Franklin, KY; 

12 grandchildren:  Lilly Ann, Brooklynn, Timothy "Tim Tom", Tiwanna Stephens, Christopher Thompson, Ryan Napier, Ericka Napier, Ellie-Ana Napier, Dalton Napier, Trevor Napier, Gabriel Napier and Greyson Napier; 

3 great grandchildren:  Brayleigh, Hazley and Baylor; 

Several nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by a grandson:  Daniel "Little Man" Brown and 3 brothers:  Dorsey Blankenship, Lester Blankenship and Samuel Blankenship. 

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Owen Minix officiating and burial in Crescent Hill Cemetery.  Visitation will be after 10:00 a.m. Friday until funeral time at Goad Funeral Home.  In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations for funeral expenses.  Donations may be made at Goad Funeral Home.
