Arlee Dinkins

Arlee Dinkins, 83, of Scottsville, KY passed away Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at the Hospice House in Bowling Green, KY.  He was a farmer and retired employee of Lawnlite in Portland, TN.  He was a son of the late Leo Thomas Dinkins and Pauline Graves Dinkins. 

He is survived by his wife of 51 years:  Junie Dinkins, Scottsville, KY; 

2 daughters:  Julie Ann Shockley and husband, Shorty, Westmoreland, TN and Bonnie Lee Caldwell and husband, Mark, Nashville, TN; 

1 sister:  Reba Cornwell, Scottsville, KY; 

5 grandchildren:  Brandon Coons, Rachel Caldwell, Haley Lambert, Holly Kendall & Heather Gober;

4 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by 2 brothers:  Earl (Uncle) Dinkins & James Dinkins and 1 sister:  Joyce Lambert. 

Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, May 15, 2026, at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Tim Saylors officiating and burial in Walker's Chapel Cemetery.  Visitation will be 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday and after 7:00 a.m. Friday until funeral time at Goad Funeral Home.
