Annie Mae Carter, 79, of Adolphus, KY passed away Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at the Medical Center at Bowling Green. The Adolphus, KY native was a former employee of Colonial Florist and retired cashier for Family Dollar. She was a daughter of the late Elvis John William Spears and Vernie Mae Sikes Spears and wife of the late Bracie Louis Carter.
She is survived by 1 son: Johnny Carter and wife, Latonya, Scottsville, KY;
2 daughters: Dawn Michelle Carter and husband, Dwight, and Pamela Joy Foster and husband, Chris, all of Adolphus, KY;
11 grandchildren: Heather Tuttle (Josh), Christopher Carter (Sara), Lucas Carter, Cristin Witcher (Cody), Cory Foster, Carrigan Foster, Camryn Foster, Matthew Hawks, Sarah Hawks, Alyson Carter and Blake Carter;
8 great grandchildren: Chloe Witcher, Cambree Witcher, Gracie Tuttle, Maddie Tuttle, Eva Carter, Henry Carter, Leo Carter and Joseph Carter.
She was preceded in death by a son: Kevin Louis Carter and a granddaughter: Taylor Carter.
Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Friday at Goad Funeral Home with burial in Oak Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday and after 7:00 a.m. Friday until funeral time at Goad Funeral Home.
