Angela Elaine "Angie" (Cook) Taylor

Angela Elaine "Angie" Taylor, 65, of Scottsville, KY passed away Friday, April 7, 2023 at Hospice House of Southern Kentucky.  The Scottsville, KY native was a homemaker and former employee of General Electric and A. O. Smith and member of Old Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church.  She was a daughter of the late Jesse Willard Cook and Delma Marie Carter Cook, who survives, and wife of the late Charles Scotty Taylor. 

She is survived by 1 son:  Allen Taylor, Scottsville, KY; 

1 daughter:  Conswella Taylor, Scottsville, KY; 

Her mother: Marie Cook, Adolphus, KY;

Her mother-in-law:  Gracie Taylor Hesson, Adolphus, KY; 

3 brothers:  Jr. Cook, Morgantown, KY; Jesse Cook and wife, Becky, Portland, TN and Jeff Cook, Scottsville, KY;

5 sisters:  Gail Gammons and Jenny Thornton, both of Adolphus, KY; Shelia Blankenship, Scottsville, KY; Sherry Ryan, Louisville, KY and Marty Meredith, Leitchfield, KY; 

Several nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by a daughter:  Misty Joy Taylor. 

Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Dewayne Taylor officiating and burial in Old Macedonia Cemetery.  Visitation will be 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday and after 7:00 a.m. until funeral time Wednesday at Goad Funeral Home.
