Amanda Dayle West

Amanda Dayle West, 44, of Scottsville, KY passed away Tuesday, July 2, 2024 at the Hospice House in Bowling Green, KY.  She was a 1998 graduate of Allen County Scottsville High and a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor whose career was devoted to children.  She was the daughter of the late Daryel Bryant West and Helois Carol Howard West, who survives. 

She is survived by her devoted mother:  Helois West, Scottsville, KY; 

2 soul sisters:  Kim Howard Carter and husband, Jason, Scottsville, KY and Christina Hooten Alessio and husband, Louis, Hubbard, OH;

1 half sister:  Shannon West, Bonnieville, KY; 

Her uncle:  Marion Howard and wife, Carol, Franklin, TN and their children:  Joshua of California and Jessica of Maryland and their families. 

She was preceded in death by a half brother:  Tracy West. 

A celebration of life will be 6:00 p.m. Friday at Goad Funeral Home with Jon Porter officiating.  According to Amanda's wishes, cremation will follow and her cremains will be scattered in the Rocky Mountains in Colorado at a later date.  Visitation will be after 11:00 a.m. Friday until service time at Goad Funeral Home.   In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Hospice of Southern Kentucky.  Donations may be made at Goad Funeral Home.
