Alfred Wheeler, 86, of Scottsville, KY passed away Tuesday, November 25, 2025 at his residence. The Sharon, Connecticut native was a farmer, a member of Christ The King Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus. He was a son of the late Worthington Wheeler and Helen Hurley Wheeler.
He is survived by his wife: Joyce Wheeler, Scottsville, KY;
6 sons: Donald Honour (Cindi), Ancramdale, NY; Todd Honour, Timothy Honour, Kevin Wheeler (Mary), Amenia, NY; George Honour (Vicky), Binghamton, NY and Alfred Wheeler, Jr., Scottsville, KY;
2 daughters: Robin Wheeler Callahan, VA and Penny Rose Sandoval, MX;
3 brothers: Charles Wheeler, Hillsdale, NY; Donald Wheeler, Ancramdale, NY and Tom Wheeler, Copake, NY;
17 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by 1 son: James Wheeler and 1 sister: Marjorie McGee.
Funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. Thursday, December 4, 2025 at Christ The King Catholic Church with Father Tom Buckman officiating. Visitation will be 10:00 A.M. until funeral time at Christ The King Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations for funeral expenses. Donations may be made at Goad Funeral Home.
