Albert William Green, 76, of Adolphus, KY passed away Saturday, August 31, 2024. He was born in Greenville, SC to the late Corinthian Albert Green and Emma Evelyn Canady Green. He was a dairy farmer and member of Piper's Chapel Missionary Baptist Church.
He is survived by 4 sons: Troy Green, Louisville, KY; Chancey Green and wife, Kristie, Midway Community; Rocky Green and wife, Crystal, Scottsville, KY and Vincent Taylor, Lafayette, TN;
2 daughters: Bridgett Crowder and husband, Richard, Westmoreland, TN and Gwen Moss-Corley and husband, Mario, Scottsville, KY;
1 brother: Carl Green, Poplar Bluff, MO;
A special friend: Bobby Crowder, Sr., Bethpage, TN;
20 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and 1 unborn great grandson;
Several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a son: William Albert York; 3 brothers: Jimmy Gary Green, James Martin Green and Robert Green; a sister: Mary Jane Poe and 2 infant sisters.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Cremation was chosen and Goad Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
