Willie K. "Junior" Calvert

Willie K. "Junior" Calvert, 89, of Scottsville, KY passed away Tuesday, August 21, 2018 at the Medical Center at Scottsville.  The Scottsville, KY native was a former barber, U. S. Army veteran, retired employee of Scotscraft and attended Oak Forest No. 2 Missionary Baptist Church.  He was a son of the late John William K. Calvert and Mary Angeline Wilson Calvert and husband of the late Lilian Waltraud Berta Puttenat Calvert.

He is survived by 1 son:  Jeffrey Thomas Calvert and wife, Willie Denise, Adolphus, KY; 

1 daughter:  Angela Mary Harper and husband, Charlie, Lafayette, TN; 

3 grandchildren:  Emily Renee Freeman and husband, Brad; Jenna Erin Cozart and husband, Cory; Caitlin Foster Stone and husband, Tommy; 

4 great grandchildren:  Noah Lee Harper, Aiden Cozart, Lily Mae Calvert and Brandy Renee Rinard. 

He was preceded in death by a grandson:  Benjamin Dylan Harper.

Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Mike Harper officiating and burial in Allen County Memorial Gardens.  Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday and after 7:00 a.m. until funeral time Thursday at Goad Funeral Home.
