Wallace D. Sikes, 83, of Scottsville, KY passed away Monday, November 13, 2017 at Cal Turner Rehab & Specialty Care. The Scottsville, KY native was the owner and operator of Sikes Welding and co-founder and member of Full Gospel House of Prayer. He was a son of the late Dewey Sherman Sikes and Oshea May McPeak Sikes.
He is survived by his wife: Sister Kathleen Sikes, Scottsville, KY;
1 son: Gary Michael Sikes and wife, Ruthann, Scottsville, KY;
2 daughters: Wanda Romans and husband, Duane, Bowling Green, KY; Tina Garmon and husband, Chad, Scottsville, KY;
1 sister: Florene Johnson, Scottsville, KY;
5 grandchildren: Brian Graves; Steve Graves and wife, Carrie; Zack Sikes and wife, Heather; Beverly Douglas and husband, David; Makayla Carter and husband, Michael;
4 great grandchildren: Carter Douglas, Kinlee Sikes, J.T. Graves and Alyssa Graves;
1 step grandson: Dustin Garmon;
1 step great grandson: Caleb Underwood;
He was preceded in death by 1 brother: Norris Sikes, Jr.; 2 sisters: Wilma Wilson and Ruby Sikes; 1 granddaughter: Macy Garmon and 1 great grandson: Zane Sikes.
Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Friday, November 17, 2017 at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Danny Patrick, Bro. Russell Mills and Bro. Chris Calvert officiating and burial in Durham Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, 7:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M. Thursday and after 7:00 A.M. Friday until funeral time at Goad Funeral Home.
