U. W. "Junior" Freeman, 88, of Scottsville, KY passed away Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at Greenwood Nursing and Rehab in Bowling Green, KY. The West Plains, MO native was a retired employee of General Motors, U. S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict and member of Poplar Bluff Masonic Lodge #209 F & A M. He was a son of the late William "Bill" Freeman and Mabel Clara Suritte Freeman.
He is survived by his wife: DeLois Freeman, Scottsville, KY;
1 daughter: Judy Freeman, Qulin, MO;
1 step daughter: Sherry Barton, Scottsville, KY;
1 sister: Etta Mae Daugherty and husband, Gene, Williamsville, MO;
1 brother-in-law: Dalton Scott, Poplar Bluff, MO;
3 grandchildren: James Barnett, Sealy, TX; Jennifer Barnett, Poplar Bluff, MO; Justin Freeman, St. Louis, MO;
His special baby: Buttons;
Several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by 2 brothers: Henry Freeman and Samuel Posey Freeman and 1 sister: Ruby Scott.
Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Monday at Morgan-Sifford Funeral Home with Rev. Ray Placker officiating and burial in the Puxico Cemetery. Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Saturday at Goad Funeral Home and at 9:00 a.m. Monday until funeral time at Morgan Sifford Funeral Home in Puxico, MO.
