Thomas Claypool McGuffey

Thomas Claypool McGuffey, 62, of Scottsville, KY passed away Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at his residence.  The Henderson, KY native was a self-employed auto CAD designer and attended Weldon Christian Church in Brandenburg, KY.  He was a son of the late Buel D McGuffey, Sr. and Una Faye Claypool McGuffey. 

He is survived by his wife:  Rita Cook McGuffey, Scottsville, KY; 

2 sons:  Wesley Keith McGuffey and John Thomas McGuffey, both of Brandenburg, KY; 

1 daughter:  Meredith Faye Fuqua and fiancé, Jasen Jackson, Scottsville, KY;

2 brothers:  Ken McGuffey and wife, Patricia Harston, Indianapolis, IN and Buel McGuffey, Jr. and wife, Gail, Scottsville, KY; 

1 sister:  Pamela McGuffey, Scottsville, KY; 

5 grandchildren:  Tyler Guenther, Justin McGuffey, Brennan Fuqua, Wyatt Jackson and Henry Liam McGuffey.

Memorial service will be 4:00 p.m. Sunday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Gary True officiating.  Visitation will be after 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Goad Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Center For Courageous Kids.  Donations may be made at Goad Funeral Home.
